01 The resort
Les Arcs, 1,800 m
Les Arcs is stepped over four sites — 1600, 1800, 1950 and 2000 — linked to Bourg-Saint-Maurice by funicular. The oldest sites are marked by 1970s mountain architecture, with compact cabin studios and plenty of interior wood. These are quick to turn around one by one, but they need a tight sequence to hold a changeover day.

02 How a contract is set up
What we check before committing
We do not take on a one-off changeover 1 hr 55 away: it would not hold the day a departure runs late. A season contract can be prepared — and this is what we look at before signing it.
- GroupingNeighbouring properties, on one or two sites. Spread over five sites, internal travel eats the day and the commitment does not hold — we say so rather than accept it.
- Volume and datesNumber of properties, beds and bathrooms, actual opening and closing dates. This decides the team assigned to the season.
- The visitFree, before any quote. A photo shows the volume, never the access, the carrying or the condition of surfaces.
- The specificationWritten room by room and agreed with you. It is the document used to train staff and to settle a disagreement.
- The reportA time-stamped photo per property at every visit, as in the 3 Vallées. Distance does not change what you receive.
03 What we do
Our work at altitude
A narrower list than in the valley: in resorts, we look after holiday accommodation and its common areas, not private homes.

In resorts, we only work on a season contract: a one-off changeover 125 km away cannot be done properly. In the Chambéry valley, holiday lets between guests are handled by Hipla Conciergerie (site in French).

Nearly two hours away: can you keep the commitment?
On a season contract, yes, because the team is set for the period and the volume, not for a one-off round trip. For a single changeover, no, and we say so rather than accept it and disappoint: two hours of driving for one studio helps nobody.
Are cabin studios quicker to clean?
Individually, yes, but the gap is smaller than you might think: the bathroom, the kitchen and the bedding take most of the time, and a cabin studio has as many as a one-bedroom flat. It is the number of beds and bathrooms that sets the time, not the floor area.
