01 The resort
Valmorel, 1,400 m
Valmorel is the closest resort to our base: 75 km, just over an hour by road. Its centre is car-free and built as a village, which directly affects organisation — equipment is carried from the car parks to the properties, and that weighs on the time of a changeover far more than the size of the apartments.

02 How a contract is set up
What we check before committing
We do not take on a one-off changeover 1 hr 10 away: it would not hold the day a departure runs late. A season contract can be prepared — and this is what we look at before signing it.
- GroupingNeighbouring properties, on one or two sites. Spread over five sites, internal travel eats the day and the commitment does not hold — we say so rather than accept it.
- Volume and datesNumber of properties, beds and bathrooms, actual opening and closing dates. This decides the team assigned to the season.
- The visitFree, before any quote. A photo shows the volume, never the access, the carrying or the condition of surfaces.
- The specificationWritten room by room and agreed with you. It is the document used to train staff and to settle a disagreement.
- The reportA time-stamped photo per property at every visit, as in the 3 Vallées. Distance does not change what you receive.
03 What we do
Our work at altitude
A narrower list than in the valley: in resorts, we look after holiday accommodation and its common areas, not private homes.

In resorts, we only work on a season contract: a one-off changeover 75 km away cannot be done properly. In the Chambéry valley, holiday lets between guests are handled by Hipla Conciergerie (site in French).

Valmorel — your questions
Being the closest, is it easier to serve?
The road, yes: an hour and ten minutes against nearly two hours for the upper Tarentaise. It is also the resort outside the 3 Vallées where a contract is simplest to set up. The car-free centre, however, adds carrying time, which we build into the quote rather than discover on the first Saturday.
Why are you not on a weekly round here?
Because our Saturday round follows the Belleville valley up to Val Thorens, and Valmorel is on another road. That does not stop us working here on a season contract, with a team set for the period — it is simply a different commitment, and we prefer to name it.
